ANCESTRY.COM surprises Tom Hanks with news that he’s related to Mr. Rogers

Lippe Taylor #Client, Ancestry.com, surprised Tom Hanks at the red carpet premiere of “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” to inform him that he is in fact related to Mr. Rogers! According to Ancestry records, they are sixth cousins and share the same great-great-great-great-great grandfather. The genealogy gets even richer as Ancestry went on to add: “Rogers and Hanks not only share the same ancestor, they also descend from two brothers who fought for America’s independence.”
