More details emerge about GAP’s collection of NFTs
Gap recently entered the non-fungible tokens (NFT) market with a limited collection that drew upon the drawing skill of New York-based artist Brandon Sines (creator of Frank Ape, a primate-like creature who lives among the humans of New York City and embodies positivity, equality, and caring concern for all living things). The Gap’s debut NFT drop included a gaming component to encourage customers to keep engaging with the collectibles, which were available for purchase at different price levels ($8.30 apiece for the lowest level, with the highest
level going for a price set at a Jan. 24 auction—Gap has not revealed the amount of the winning bid). After acquiring enough of the NFTs at the lower price levels, collectors became eligible to then buy a special-edition physical Gap hoodie. Learn more by clicking here.
