TIME recreates MLK’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech in FORTNITE

The makers of Fortnite—joined by Time Studios and the Estate of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—unveiled a companion game called “March Through Time” which sends players back to the year 1963 to not only witness but also participate in Dr. King’s momentous civil rights rally at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The game is based on an immersive museum exhibit that opened last year at Chicago’s Dusable Museum of African American History. Fortnite was created by Epic Games, but “March” is the product of Fortnite aficionados who made use of the game’s creative-mode functionality to build it. Time Studios offered additional support to the grassroots designers.
