Hard-seltzer maker Truly wanted to stress to its target demo (21- to 34-year-olds) that there’s nothing artificial about the fruit juices that go into its product. So the Boston Beer Company-owned brand produced an ad depicting a swarm of fruit flies excitedly drawn to a can of Truly hard seltzer and buzzing all around it. The ad is getting paid digital support on (appropriately enough) Buzzfeed but also on various other channels including YouTube, ESPN, and Food Network.
