MACY’s opens metaverse hub ‘Mstylelab’

As the metaverse fervor continues, Macy’s jumps on the virtual bandwagon to woo shoppers with its digital fashion hub, “Mstylelab.” Partnering with Journee, a metaverse tech firm, Macy's is blending the virtual with the voguish to debut its On 34th in-house brand.

Mstylelab lets users roam a digital New York, personalize fabric, and revel in a gamified yet shoppable experience. It’s Macy’s step towards breaking down the barriers of connectivity and embracing new tech from a fashion standpoint. Amid a sales slump, Macy's digital dalliance aims at fostering deeper customer loyalty while evolving with consumer preferences.

While other brands like Disney and Microsoft are dialing down on metaverse marketing, Macy’s is betting on the virtual realm as a testing ground for fostering fresh connections with its community. With Mstylelab, Macy’s is not just launching a platform, but a new era of digital retail, one where shopping clicks with the clicks.
