MILLER LITE to host a Super Bowl party in the metaverse

You never see Miller Lite ads airing during the Super Bowl on the network carrying the big game. The reason is that the National Football League long ago named Anheuser-Busch InBev as the exclusive Super Bowl beer advertiser. Miller Lite’s crafty workaround this year is to open a virtual bar in the metaverse and invite a few million of its closest friends to stop by for a virtual drink during the Super Bowl. While they’re gathered, those fellow beer lovers will be able to watch the ad that Miller Lite would have aired at the Super Bowl. The metaverse has its perks.
