AIRBNB lets users live in the Scream House

Actor David Arquette played Sheriff Dewey Riley in the movie Scream—and he’s currently hosting overnight stays in the same two-story house where all the heart-stopping terror was filmed for the original 1996 cult-classic. The house (located near San Francisco) is now an Airbnb property which the international lodging-and-getaway platform is promoting as a super-scary place to stay this Halloween season. In addition to getting to meet Arquette, guests receive unique Scream memorabilia, including a DVD bundle of the movie and its trio of sequels. The promotion ties into Hollywood’s 25th anniversary celebration of the release of Scream and is also intended to help build nail-biting anticipation for a remake of the hit pic (which is due out early next year).
