TACO BELL tested 2 menu items served on a gigantic CHEEZ-IT cracker
The Mexican fast-food chain wanted to see what kind of reception its signature tostada would receive if served on a Cheez-It cracker 16 times the normal size. So, Taco Bell did a collab with Kellogg’s, the maker of Cheez-It, to produce an extraordinarily large wafer for the experiment. Taco Bell planned to offer the Cheez-It tostada—along with a Cheez-It crunchwrap—for just a 14-day stretch but ended the test early, citing overwhelming demand (it happened that the experimental items were available at only a single Taco Bell restaurant but word of their existence had gone viral, meaning the whole world was clued in and trying to beat a path to the test site).
