Tricky bag helped trick-or-treaters conceal REESE’S peanut butter cups

Among trick-or-treaters, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are said to be the most highly coveted of all Halloween candies. But owing to their immense popularity, Reese’s is the Number One target of candy thieves. As a result, many trick-or-treaters who open their bounty-hunter bags the next day expecting to feast on Reese’s are horrified to discover that someone else in their household or of their close acquaintance has beaten them to it. To stop such thievery, Reese’s produced a special Halloween collection bag featuring a hidden compartment into which Reese’s snack-size Peanut Butter Cups could be concealed (and thus safeguarded for the rightful owner’s consumption). Reese's Secret Stash Trick-or-Treat Bag was offered as a freebie with an online purchase of the 9.6-ounce bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Snack Sized Ghosts, Bats & Pumpkins. It became available on Oct. 19 and remained up for grabs until supplies were exhausted.
